Fiber News & Updates
Lake Region Electric Cooperative (LREC) and Lake Region Technology & Communications (LRTC) were happy to participate in The Kee's Fall Festival and Community Hero Night at Cherokee Elementary in Tahlequah on October 22, 2026. Greg Salley, Fiber Dispatch, and Tyler Rowland, Lineman/Fiber Technician, represented Lake Region at the event, bringing along a bucket truck and fiber splicing trailer to give families a closer look at some of the equipment our crews use to keep our communities powered and connected. The event brought families and community partners together for an evening of free food, games, music and fall festivities. We appreciate the opportunity to participate in community events like this and connect with the families we serve. Thank you to the event organizers for inviting Lake Region to be part of the fun!
