Recently, our fiber crew answered the call for mutual aid in Mississippi, assisting with restoring fiber infrastructure in the wake of Winter Storm Fern. Severe winter weather left a large portion of the Tallahatchie Valley without fiber service for several weeks after a loss of 90% of its electrical grid infrastructure. From the moment they arrived, our fiber crew demonstrated incredible skill, determination, and teamwork. We are proud of the commitment our team shows not only to our local community but also in supporting fellow cooperatives during times of need. A huge thank you to Austin Fletcher, Tyler Rowland, Ethan Chuculate, and Cooper Whitlock for representing Lake Region Fiber with professionalism and heart, proving once again that our cooperative spirit knows no borders.
